Share a Book, Inspire a Dream

September 1–October 11

We’re proud to serve as a collection site for a local Girl Scout book drive inspired by Dolly Parton’s belief in the power of reading.

Now through October 11, we’re collecting new and gently used children’s books for children from birth through sixth grade. Every donated book will help place stories, imagination, and new possibilities into the hands of children in our community.

To participate, simply bring your book donations to The Teal Yogi and leave them in the designated collection area at the studio.

Whether you donate one book or an entire stack, every contribution helps us share the gift of reading and inspire a child to dream big.

No registration required.

Is This Perimenopause?

You haven’t felt quite like yourself lately. Your sleep, energy, mood, focus, cycle, or body may be changing—and you’re wondering whether it’s stress, aging, hormones, or all three.

Is This Perimenopause? is a 90-minute educational and movement experience designed to help you understand what may be changing and feel less alone in it.

Erin Lovingfoss, founder of Loving Your Pause, will lead a guided symptom check-in and an approachable conversation about perimenopause, including why symptoms are often overlooked and how to advocate for yourself. And our own Stephanie will then guide a gentle, grounding yoga practice to help you slow down and reconnect with your body.

You’ll leave feeling more informed, supported, and prepared to ask for the care you need.

No yoga experience is required. All props are provided.

Haunted Duck Hunt

Something spooky—and surprisingly adorable—is hiding around The Teal Yogi this October!

Throughout the month, haunted ducks will be hidden around the studio. Find one when you visit, bring it to your instructor to have your calendar card stamped, and take your duck home with you.

You may find one duck per day. Everyone’s calendar card will be displayed on the front wall, so you can follow the hunt and see how your collection compares throughout the month.

The student who collects the most haunted ducks by October 31 will win a cozy Halloween prize basket!

No additional registration is required. Pick up your calendar card at the studio and start hunting October 1.
